Compost is the biological decomposition of organic waste by bacteria, fungi, worms and other organic matter. It is rich in nutrients and a perfect fertilizer for plants.

At the same time, compost can be described as nature’s most efficient recycling system; one that makes life on our earth possible. We, as humans, have the chance to mimic and also become a part of this miraculous process.

If you are interested to learn more about composting, join us as we talk about life and compost. During this workshop you will discover how to recycle your kitchen waste with small-scale home composting systems. Together, we will also construct a simple worm compost bin.
