NADAS is a creative house, located in Yeldeğirmeni, Kadıköy, Istanbul, founded in June 2018. We open space for individual and community projects valuing the diversity of urban life and people’s connection to their environments. At Nadas, we provide the conditions for you and your ideas to be heard, tested, and integrated; slowly, mindfully, and empathetically.

workshops 

Creative workshops at NADAS focus on sustainable living and making-by-hand, including fermentation, makrome, urban sketching, painting, and plant-care.

art classes 

At NADAS, we host regular art classes - including drawing, collage, charcoal, watercolour, and printmaking - and a weekly figure drawing group. Sessions are open to all levels.

Nadas’a Bırak Artists Residency Programme hosts artists from all creative mediums and stages in their careers.

the house

Built in the 1930’s, NADAS maintains the feel of an old-style family-home. Our rooms are suitable for private and community events, with access to a shared garden, balcony and living room. The house preserves a unique peace of the city, offering place for connection and contemplation, trial and error, as well as de-composition and development.
